Okay now…
Here’s a much better theme for the blog to sit upon or in or whatever while I get my sh** together (I like it already…such control(!) and my pictures actually show up!).
It doesn’t have a “Previous/Next entries” links at the bottom and link titles such as Blogroll, Sites or whatever I add do not show up unless all the links are in the default “Blogroll” catagory but whatever. It works for now and looks good to boot. You can get to the previous posts via the Archives drop down or the Categories all the way at the bottom(?).
So far I’ve managed to get the comments straightened out, Akismet plugin set-up, a couple of themes uploaded via FTP (you’re looking at one of them) and a whole lot of reading done. Lots more to go yes indeedy but with a lot of help from my own lovely lady (Long Meadow Farms) who switched hosts just recently and gave me one of her add-on domains for my blog to live on as well as Becky of “Sprites and Bites” who also did the “big switch” from WordPress.com to hosting her own WordPress blog last month, this old(er), thick headed guy just might manage to get this thing up and running the way it should be.
Heck, maybe people will even read it.

Nice! Clean, well laid out. Nice photo at the top as well – would love to own one of those farms. (Except the working on the farm part. Scrap that.)
