The weather looks like it’s about to clobber the Northeast Kingdom with a good old fashioned Nor’easter and this time it looks like it means it! The weather forecast is calling for heavy snow all through tomorrow with the storm ending sometime in the wee hours of Thursday morning—maybe. Perhaps as much as 26″ of the white stuff before it’s all over.
I realize this isn’t anywhere near what Oswego county in upstate New York has on the ground and is also expecting about two more feet of snow on top of the 80+ inches they got last week, but two feet is still two feet. We’ve been lucky so far this winter but it looks like old man winter’s not going to let us get off without at least one good storm.
Let’s just hope the power stays on.
I don’t know about where you live, but Boston’s ‘Nor’easter’ was nuthin’!
We had over two feet when it was all done. With the wind, we have drifts over four feet high in many places and many people are just now starting to dig there way out of their houses and typically with the assistance of the various townspeople walking about with their shovels and attacking the snow in front of people’s doorways. I would like to venture out and get a picture of the street where we live but I’m under the weather and it will have to wait.
Glad Boston didn’t get smacked like we did.
