Pmetrics having hiccups, Wordpress and other stuff

Performancing and their new Pmetrics statistics are having major hiccups for the last few days so if anyone has clicked on my affiliate link or member logo and expected to get some interesting results, my apologizes. Currently, I haven’t read any or received anything from the new Performancing crew about what the problem may be or what’s being done to solve it. I’m hoping this means that they are hard a work trying to fix said problems.

Until they get a handle on things I can’t recommend attempting checking the new metrics system out to anyone. When they finally get around to updating their members and readers as to what’s going on, I’ll pass the info on here.

In other things, Wordpress.org just put a security update on the streets for their Wordpress software (WP 2.1.3) which also includes fixes for a couple of troublesome items. I’ll probably update my install here by before the weekend but no real hurry. The hassle is not in the updating itself but getting all the damn plugins turned off then turned back on again after the update is complete. Sometimes it makes the blog go funky but I’ll make the usual announcement (site’s screwed during update, please standby). :P

Maybe I should install one of those “Performing maintenance” type plugins? Nah! It’s just one more that I’d have to turn off.

Right then—I’m off to the VA once more. The first of three appointments this week. The weather is cooperating as it usually does of course and providing my travel plans with wonderful things like snow, sleet and freezing rain for my driving entertainment and this is one appointment I can’t miss.

Have old Jeep Cherokee…will travel.

And off we go…
