I can only perceive this blog as me. But I see the work of someone, who has lived many life experiences, and is now taking the time to reflect on those days and express himself through writing. It’s a great blog Kirk. Sometimes the simple questions are the hardest to answer. Take Care, Emma
Thank you so much Emma.
I was wondering what folks might say to that question of mine. And you’re right. It’s sometimes very hard to answer these simple looking questions. To stand outside yourself and look back at your own work form another viewpoint. That’s why I value your comment. It gives me an insight that I simply don’t have.
Very glad to see you here.
Well, this is my first visit to your blog. And all I’ve seen is this post. So if you’re wanting first impressions, here goes:
Your header is very calming, which matches your clean, cool color scheme.
Lots of links on the left, which gives me the impression that you’re community-minded.
Your weather widget lets me know immediately where you’re located, and that it’s much cooler right now in VT than it is in MO.
Hope that helps!
Why thank you Bob! Feel free to go spelunking around the place and let me know if there is anything elseyou like.
Of course I had to head off to see what the temp was in Montana (Helena was all I could think of) and you’re right. It is warmer there than it is here. I really don’t think I’m ready for the cold weather yet. It seems like the older I get, the less tolerant of the cold I become and the farther North I move.
There’s something definitely wrong with that.
And you’re right about community also. To me that’s what blogging is all about. The header image came from a photo I took of one of the smaller local rivers last Spring. Then I ran it through two different imaging programs which, among other things, put Pogo on the river bank. His rippled reflection in the water took the better part of an hour to get just right. Glad you like it.
