The day gets long when your up and on the road early for a two hour drive to see the doctor. I stopped by the main store of the company I work for in order to drop off some medical equipment that was too far gone for my modestly equipped service shop to repair and then stood back and watched while two guys from the purchasing department stuffed a record amount of new home medical equipment into my old Cherokee for the return trip.
The way I look at it is that if I’m going to head to a VA appointment that’s just a few miles away from the main store and service area, why waste the trip? Let’s make some room in my service area in Newport where space is at a premium and bring back some healthy machinery while I’m at it?
Besides, it keeps me from tripping over that old junk. 
Next appointment is the 25th so I have a week to myself. Then it’s September 4th and the last one until January…hopefully.
I might even have time to post a bit more than these little pieces of trivia.
