Glasses on my face, hearing aids in my ears…

…and now a lift in my shoe”, I mumbled grumpily from the easy chair that resides in our bedroom as I was wrestling the reluctant little piece of gel like material into my work boot.

Then I heard this small voice coming from my wonderful lady who was still snuggled warmly in bed saying, “and don’t forget the plastic in your belly, honey”.

You know, I never have to wonder why I love this lady as the smile spread across my (still natural) face. I pulled the boot home, tied it up and clumped over to the bed to gave my wife a big hug and a kiss. And then, with glasses, hearing aids, heel lifts and plastic; on face, in ears, in boot and in belly…I headed to the kitchen to make my lunch and have breakfast clean the cat barf off the floor.

Is it Friday yet? :P

What make are your hearing aids?

    Hi Martyn,

I have a high end set of programmable, over the ear Phonaks (with remote). My hearing degraded to the point where the “in the ear” models no longer were sufficient.
