Just a quick update on the Republish Your First Post challenge.

The list is beginning to be filled in with the first 5 bloggers that resurrected their first posts to the Blogosphere back into the public light. And I’m pleased to say that none of them were by some guy named Admin along with a lone comment by Mr WordPress. I’m planning on publishing the basic list this weekend and I’ll keep adding to it as folks let me know that they decided to take me up on this friendly challenge and republished their own first post to the world.

This list will be an ongoing thing for now and as I get comments or emails letting me know of new, republished first posts, I’ll include these new “oldies” in a weekly post  here at Just Thinkin’ (or as soon as I get word if more than a week) letting other bloggers know where to look for those first forays into the wild world of blogging. And it’s a great way to spread a little link love around the community.

So why don’t you join in and dig around the basement of your blog for that first beginning when you were new and unsure of yourself. Who knows? It might give you a fresh outlook as to where you are now and what the future might bring or trigger that next burst of creativity and that can’t possibly be bad.
