Finally! A monetizing solution I can deal with. The Buy Me a Beer plugin or a coffee in my case. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn’t bring myself to put ads on this blog, affiliate links were right out and even a simple donate button seemed wrong. But I figured I ought to have something just to say I did and the coffee mug and the whole idea behind it appealed to me for some off beat reason. Hey, I was a submariner at one time and it took years for my “coffee mug grip” too relax to the point where my hand looked somewhat normal.
The choice whether to use this is strictly up to you of course, I just like folks dropping by and leaving a comment now and then however, I’ll keep a tin can close by just in case.

Wow, my first and most likely last coffee I’ll ever receive. Thank you, Rose! Now if I can manage to get my PayPal account verified, I might even be able to accept it.
I shall reciprocate in kind as soon as I give my bank you-know-what tomorrow for locking me out of my online access again for putting in the correct ID# and password…again (3 times now and I know I didn’t fat finger the keyboard). I’d change banks but their the only game in town at present.

I’ve just posted that very same thing at Blog Experiment. I found it funny that you commented on it almost at the same time. Figured TBE’s forum would be a good place to get some opinions. For me it was the only monetization solution I could stomach. Besides…I like the coffee cup. Fits right in.

Not too sure how I feel about this. I’ll let it ride for awhile and see. I don’t mind it at all on other sites but it’s beginning to feel a bit strange on mine. I’ll give it a chance though.
