This shouldn’t even count but it was my first.

    http://lifesinwestcliffe.blogspot.com/2004/10/web-site-under-construction.html

What the site itself looked like, I haven’t a clue. I’m sure it was pretty basic. Not all junked up like it is now.

    Hi Janet,

Ah, but you have made the site your own so when folks drop by for a visit they know it’s Janet’s place. Blog’s are kind of like virtual houses. Decorated as they like it and I just love you header images. It must be something to wake up and look outside and see something like that. Hope you never get used to it. ;)

I’ll add you to the list tonight!

It was September 2005, I had just watched a John Denver concert on tape, stayed a while with the grandkids – emotions running high. I found a good place to capture my thoughts on blogger, and have been here ever since, 2 years now!

    Hi Susan,
That was a real nice first post! I’ll be adding you to the list later tonight and thank you much for that nice addition! :)

  6. Nancy Bond says:

Great idea! I sent you an e-mail before I found the comments section. :)

  7. KirkM says:

    Hi Nancy,

I’m glad you thought so. This list has definitely been a great learning experience for me as well and the list is filling out slowly but surely.
I found your email and I’ll check your post tomorrow morning and add it to the list. Right now my bed is calling my name rather loudly and I must heed the call. I just wanted to make sure you knew I got the word. ;)

  8. Cat says:

This is starting to slowly fill up!

You really did have a very good idea. :)

  9. janet says:

Did you forget me? Not uncommon. :) See my post today. If I knew how I’d make you a nice little button to link to your page regarding this post. Later this afternoon I may work on it.

  10. Kirk M says:

OMG! I lost you in the comments. Hang me for a dastardly bas**** and speak my name with spite.

I’m very sorry Janet…I’ll add you as soon as I get home (I’m being very naughty and replying from work).

  11. Kirk M says:

    Hi Cat,

It does seem to be filling up doesn’t it? Now if only I can have these good ideas all the time. Nah….how would I know if they’re good then?

  12. KirkM says:

    Janet!

You have been added. Sorry ’bout that.

  14. Poonam says:

Hey Kirk, that was fast :) Dropped in to say thank you for adding my blog to the list….When I looked at the list, it struck me I was the only one who used her complete name to post her blog entries…btw you have a fine blog going there….

  15. KirkM says:

    Hi Poonam,

    Welcome to my place!

Glad to add you. Makes “DoFollow” all the more worth it to link back to good people. And I find it common courtesy to use folks names as they display it in a situation such as this. Kind of a habit with me.

And thanks for the compliment. Opinions from folks like yourself is the only way I can tell if I’m doing something right. I really don’t have a clue myself. :D

  18. Cat says:

Apologies for those two pingbacks, something went wrong when I posted it.

  19. KirkM says:

Oh, you are absolutely ostracized for leaving two whole trackbacks and making this particular post more heavy than usual!

Oh, okay…you’re not really, I just like to tease a bit. I’m always glad to see you Cat and the more the better! Keep on writing lady and if you’re ready to make that move to “doing it yourself”, just let me know. I’ll be glad to watch you. :D

  20. Cat says:

Haha, I more meant that I only wanted to leave one. ;)

Nah, that move won’t happen, I’m happy where I am!
