And the snow blower is back!

Blessed be the fix-it shop that will take the time to work on a neighbor’s snow blower on a Saturday when there’s a snow storm due on Sunday. He didn’t even charge me for today’s labor which is good since we’re counting pennies right now. We’ll have to invite him over for dinner sometime soon.
I even had enough daylight left to blow back the snow that I shoveled yesterday since there was no way that my busted back was going to throw it all the way to where we pushed back the mess from last storm. That’s the secret to living up in snow country ya’ know. Always leave room to put more snow which means pushing it as far back into the yard as you can get it. With a bit of luck you’ll run out of room just before mud season arrives.
So now we sit and wait. You never know what these types of storms might do. They may slam you hard, miss you completely (sometimes by only a few miles) or anything in between. I’m figuring on anything in between right now.

This is good news indeed! This is going to be one hellova nasty storm and I am not looking forward to it in the least. Stay warm, stay safe, and let’s hope for NO power outages!
