I’m Gonna Win Me This Baby!

, of which I’m a registered member so I can heckle the various authors of various articles that I disagree with, sent me an email today about their latest PC giveaway. And I’m gonna win this sucker!

This thing’s an ungodly, horrendous, massively overpowered, power sucking monster! I have no idea what I’d possibly use it for but pounding up the electricity bill but man! What a way to do it! They even give you things you don’t need like both a Windows Vista Ultimate (64) OEM disk and a Windows XP SP2 (64) OEM disk although I’m sure Vista is installed by default. Wait…I bet they installed both just cause they could. Just think of all the hardware incompatibilities this PC from hell will have.

Take a look at the list of parts and tell me I couldn’t impress my neighbors with this gamer’s nightmare machine sitting on my computer de…oh wait–my computer desk isn’t nearly big enough nor sturdy enough for this thing and neither is the room where my current setup is located for that matter. Well, maybe if we move the bookshelves out it might fit but it would be a close one. I mean 3-24.1″ wide screen displays? Lord, I could have my blog editor on one screen, my email on another and have yet another to use for whatever I wanted–like monitoring my household power draw from the inline wireless power monitoring thing-a-ma-bob I’d have to hook up to the meter outside just to ensure I don’t go broke using this thing.

And they got all the components from no less. So check out my new light dimming PC folks…

Now wait a doggone minute here. I just realized I’d have to buy another USB wireless adapter otherwise I’d have no Internet. Sheeesh! What cheapskates! Well okay, since they included that custom paint job I guess I can forgive the oversight. Of course you do realize that I probably won’t be able to afford the taxes I’ll end up paying for this thing in the long run. Maybe I can sell the pieces/parts I don’t need to somebody under the table so’s I can pay the tax man for my new, massively overpowered, current sucking, beastly beast of a PC.

Wish me luck!

    • Take another look. There’s a 3.5″ ultra floppy drive included. No 5-1/4″ though. Ya’ know, I just realized that just the box alone would draw more current than a portable electric heater turned on full blast never mind the 3 wide screen monitors and 500 watt speaker system. I figure I could use it just 4 days out of each month and still be able to buy groceries.
