Still down and out folks, this virus will just not let go from either me or Laurie who has spent the majority of the last 3 work days at her shop, sitting in her hammock chair waiting for her head to fall off or her chest to explode. As for me I managed to take her to work this morning (snow storm and my rig has 4WD), make a run to the bank and stop by the local market on the way back to pick up some milk. I also asked my (almost) step son if he’d be kind enough to run the snow blower this evening sometime and clear the driveway. As it was the ##$$!! sidewalk plow came by and laid a 3 foot wide, 2 foot high windrow across my driveway about the time I was ready to take Laurie to work. Took 3 times longer to shovel the end of the driveway my usual slow pace. I swear I’m going to blow up that frickin’ thing.
I managed to get into the kitchen and shut the door before my heart gave out entirely and I’ve been dead on the floor since then. So you’ll have to excuse me from this blog until I can wrestle this virus for two out of three falls which at the rate it’s proceeding (receding?) might be right around April sometime. Hopefully sooner though.
