I’m taking a rather urgent trip to the VA to find out about this, that and the other thing especially the other thing. I could be gone a couple of days and if I am, keep the faith and I’ll see you when I get back.

Hi Janet & Elaine,
I thought I’d reply before hitting the sack. I’m back obviously and the reason I had to go down was that I thought I may have blown out another hernia. The last four weeks has been pretty painful for me down around that area (left side this time).
To make a long story short, it turned out that I have a problem in my left hip which is causing pain similar to that which is caused by a hernia. The pain is just radiating into the lower left abdomen. Beats a hernia and all the wonderful problems associated with it any day.
Thanks for your kind thoughts. I can use all the kind thoughts I can get.
