All Done Dinking Now

Okay, I’m finished. To tell the truth I was finished putting a potential new theme through it’s paces awhile ago and I have to say it just didn’t measure up. I mean, who needed a “Continue reading…” link on full posts I ask ya’? It was there though, right at the bottom of each post like there was actually something more to read. How many endings can one post have for heaven’s sake!
Even more to the point, why did it take forever to navigate from one page to another? It was as basic looking as my old theme and the author bragged about “super clean code” with no Java script yet the thing slogged along like it was dosed up on Quaaludes. After working my way through various theme files and finding nothing I could put my finger on I gave it up for a loss and went back to old reliable. Hell, I probably would have done so anyway even if the other theme had worked out. I happen like my current theme…it’s comfortable. And when you’re in my condition being comfortable is very important indeed.
I just can’t help dinking once in awhile.
