Grandad or rather the guy behind the persona, has written a book and it just recently came out of the publishers. Not only that but today the first edition of his book was slipped through his mail slot and is now the subject of much celebration not only by himself and his kin but by the many readers of his blog as well on which the book was based.
I was so excited when I heard the news I had to stick this very large image of the cover in everybody’s face.
I just love it when one of my friends does well. He worked hard enough at it and it’s not bad for someone who started out in blogging in 2006. He’s one of those rare people who have the ability to turn a phrase and see what’s underneath it. That plus a fine imagination, the ability to make it believable no matter how absurd the subject and high sense of humor to go with it make up the ingredients of a fine writer and anyone who reads his blog already knows this without a doubt.
And he’s also a good friend who checks in every once in awhile to see how I’m getting on with my health conundrums and such or to pass on some info or just the time of day (which is good since I always get confused about those time differences between here and Ireland). Occasionally he even graces my own blog here with a insult comment or two and his face avatar is always welcome.
So here’s to ya’, Grandad! You done good you did. Can’t wait for my own copy to get here.

From what I understand so far it’s a compendium of the best posts on Head Rambles plus, by what his daughter, K8, hinted at, there’s also a bit of other stuff involved as well. Some of which is about her apparently which she tells me is all lies.
I’ll just have to wait and see when I get my copy. Whatever’s inside the covers has to be good though, he’s an excellent writer.
