A yard of receipt

Went to the supermarket the other day just to do some “in between” shopping. Considering we have 4 cats “in between” shopping  usually means picking up around 25 to 30 items, a good potion of which are cans of cat food.

Now if we bought these same items a few years ago the receipt for said “in between” shopping might run about 12 inches long listing our items, cost of each beside each one, subtotal then savings deducted, tax added and then the total. Probably have the name/number of the store plus date and time on the top. No big deal right?

But these days?

3 ft receipt

This looks more like a nightly cash out of a clerk’s cash drawer after a busy day at the local Rite Aid instead of a receipt for some “in between” groceries and a few sundries.

So this is one of the ways we’re saving our planet’s environment I take it?

Dear Miss D

Dear Miss D

I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the short but thoughtful comments you left my last three posts, for your hopes that I feel better soon and especially the link back to that single page website with all those lovely photos of yourself. You are quite pretty. You weren’t cold dressed like that were you?

And I would have been glad to leave your short but thoughtful comments on my last three posts but unfortunately, the links on your ever so lovely photos of yourself appeared to lead to another much more complicated website full of the type of photos that I’m sure would cause my cat to drop all it’s fur if he should ever chance to glance at them.

He uses the computer and leaves a comment or two at the blog here when I’m busy doing other things you see. And I wouldn’t want to take the chance that he might inadvertently click on the link to your ever so lovely photos and somehow find his way to that much more complicated website with all those other amazing photos that would cause his fur to drop off.

It is November after all and it does get rather cold here this time of year.

So with great regrets I had to remove your comments from my last three posts. If you wish to still comment on future posts please feel free to do so but please…leave out the link to your ever so lovely photos. I’m afraid for my cat’s health. He’s not as young as he used to be.

Nice trick using the bathroom mirror to get those tricky angle shots by the way.
