Weather Lucky
I woke up this morning, fired up the ‘puter, checked the big weather map and saw this:
Looks like my new improved weather shield is working just fine (I never admited to owning the original shield by the way, I just passed it off as magic). I recently upgraded my equipment to handle most of the [...]

The Big The Fat The Ugly
I’ll bet you were expecting to see a photo of large, sunburned, overweight people in skimpy bathing suits lazing sound the beach on too small towels stuffing their faces with oversize sandwiches and guzzling cheap beer and soda.
Sorry to disappoint you.
I just suddenly had the sudden urge, for no particular reason, to title a post; The Big The Fat [...]
Wallpaper Psychology
I don’t often write a post about my Lady Laurie, not because she isn’t interesting (she most certainly is) or that she isn’t rather unique (she has the uniqueness market cornered) or that she isn’t even somewhat unusual at times (I plead the fifth), it’s simply because she’s promised me that if I did write [...]

I know these type of posts aren’t very enlightening and all that but troubleshooting is troubleshooting and sometimes has to [...]

I don’t iGoogle
I’m boring…I admit it.
I don’t often admit to such things but…
…I’m finally admitting it–
…I’m boring.
And… .
..I don’t iGoogle.
It scares me.
I don’t even sign in unless I want to look at my AdSense or Google Reader…
…and when I’m finished…
I sign right back out again.
It’s just the plain-old-boring "not-signed-in" Classic Google [...]

Laptop at the Quilt Shop.
Yesterday was my day to watch the quilt shop and I had this great idea of bringing Laurie’s faithful old laptop with me along with my thumb drive in hopes that I could use the time normal spent reading and dealing with customers, writing and dealing with customers instead.
So, with (armor clad) laptop case in [...]

Dear Miss D
I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the short but thoughtful comments you left my last three posts, for your hopes that I feel better soon and especially the link back to that single page website with all those lovely photos of yourself. You are quite pretty. You weren’t cold dressed like [...]
