Well now, I’ve just upgraded the blog to WP 2.3 RC1 and the old style category tables in the MySQL database are finally gone in favor of the new taxonomy tables that takes their place. And with it went one of my old standard type plugins I’ve had since day one. The Top Posts By [...] Read more »

I’ve had loads of fun so far today upgrading the blog to WordPress 2.3 beta 3 and will be going to RC1 as soon as it’s released since everything seems to be working correctly.

Wordpress.org has released a security update to it’s main 2.2 branch and the legacy 2.0 branch. Since security against hackers is even more important these days than ever, I’m not hesitating at about upgrading immediately.
