Heading to Bean Town
Tonight, after supper, I’m headed down for an overnight stay at the VA in White River Junction, VT in order to catch the van in the morning for the Jamaica Plains VA in Boston, Ma tomorrow. All for what most likely will be a 20 minute follow up to a procedure I had done over [...]
VA Bound tomorrow and look at those gas prices!
Gas has hit $3.07 around these parts and topping off the tank today by just 4.5 gallons cost me $14.00 even. Considering how fast the prices are rising it will probably be 10 cents higher by the time I leave home for the 2 hour drive down to White River Junction tomorrow. And it’s sure [...]
Dazed and Confused
Hi y’all!
Been having a heck of time the last couple of days or daze to be more precise, dealing with my miserable gut. It’s yet another race for me that pits my somewhat degrading physical well being against how quickly the VA can come up with a viable solution for my problem. They’ve done [...]

The VA comes awful early in the morning.
It’s an early morning rise for me tomorrow, like a 5:30 AM wake up call. This is for someone who has had a hard time making it out of bed at 8:00 AM lately and it’s not because I’m some sort of slug-a-bed either. Which is why I’m headed down to the VA–for more testing.
Yet [...]

I’ve been down to the VA twice and [...]
An Endoscopy for Lunch
Ah, tis a lovely day, lots of sunshine and highs in the 70’s (ya’ gotta love that global warming). And what a better day could one ask for to take a ride amongst the sculptured splendor of the green mountains and down into the graceful beauty that is the CT River Valley. Through the wondrous [...]

Knocking About The House
Having bloody problems again–enough to keep me home for a day anyway. My time in the service dropping by just to say hello I suppose but hey–it's something I've been living with for awhile now so I long ago raised tolerating to a new level…for a man anyway. I just hate losing a day out of a paycheck. [...]

Many thanks to Grandad. This absolutely horrendous, disjointed post is all his fault but he’ll probably blame it on K8.
And here we go….
I seem to be getting older these days. Not only am I getting older but it seems to be becoming a habit, a perpetual thing if [...]
