Akismet follow up–Dang! Missed a Post!

Just a quick post to right a wrong. Seems I missed a follow-up post to Traded Akismet for Spam Karma 2 in which I posted about the problems that Akismet was having with a group of servers awhile back that were causing all sorts of weirdness for those running the plugin.

Comments not showing up immediately?

If anyone finds their comment not showing up right away it’s just Spam Karma 2 doing it’s job. SK2 is one powerful spam blocker with many options and I might have to do some tweaking here and there. As it stands now it looks like anyone who leaves a comment on a post that Spam [...] Read more »

Server Problems-> Akismet

Here’s the probable answer to the Akismet problems we’ve been experiencing–server problems. Once they get moved over to the new servers, I’ll be able to use both Spam Karma 2 and Akismet 2.0 plugins to stop these miserable spammers and get back to what I do best with this blog. Rambling around.
