Canuckastan to Invade Vermont.

Posted by Kirk M on 24 Feb 2008 | Tagged as: Just Foolin

Okay, let me explain. No, too much, let me sum up:

Grandad launched an ICBM at Chicago due to a Canadian spammer that wasn’t.
In retaliation, Sixty arranged to divert the defunct spy satellite clobbering missile and have it blow up a bog in Ireland.
The subsequently diverted missile hit Bristol, UK instead. That’s it. Nothing more on [...] Read more »

The Problems Inherent in Doing a News Post

Posted by Kirk M on 01 Feb 2008 | Tagged as: Life at home

I started the day off with a "latest news" type post and in the making of this post (by bantering around the news sites and listing the most interesting stuff I could find for your reading pleasure) a friend of ours stopped by wanting to use me and my Internet connection to book tickets from [...] Read more »

I Think the Room’s Tilted…

Holy collywobbles! I think I entered some sort of sub-space pastrami around noon today and have yet to enter back into whatever passes for normality of any kind. My body seems to be where it belongs, I know this because all the usual aches and pains are present and accounted for so that means the [...] Read more »

Long Live The Queen!

And here we go….
I seem to be getting older these days. Not only am I getting older but it seems to be becoming a habit, a perpetual thing if [...] Read more »

What About BOB? The Break Out Blogger Award

Posted by Kirk M on 11 Oct 2007 | Tagged as: Community

Yes, I have been awarded a BOB (Break Out Blogger) by Janet of Life in Westcliffe along with Grandad and a very unusual story of a young-warrior with leukemia. As I stated in the last edition of the highly questionable JT Evening News (published whenever I feel like it), I’ve always loved these awards [...] Read more »

Blogging Metaphor Final List

Posted by Kirk M on 16 Jun 2007 | Tagged as: Blogging

I recently took part in a group writing effort for Successful Blog in which blogger’s were asked to come up with a metaphor they thought described the art of blogging the best. The basis for this was how would you attempt to explain blogging to someone who had no idea what blogging was all about. [...] Read more »

Have to update that darn sidebar!

Posted by Kirk M on 12 May 2007 | Tagged as: Just Thinkin

One of the worst traits I have when it comes to blogging is not keeping my links section updated properly. So without further procratination on my part, I’ll be adding a couple more to the “Friends and Neighbors” section as I meant to do awhile back. One will be Sara of the Fibromyalgia Experiment and [...] Read more »
